This allows you to learn the basics of the game on a scaled down board before progressing to larger, more complex gameplay. Masters Traditional Games have produced this affordable Go set to serve as an ideal entry-level set for newcomers to the game. It comprises a dual-sided plywood board, that features both a 13 x 13 and 9 x 9 playing area, and a set of 8mm thick plastic Go stones.

The Go Masters entry-level set is ideal for schools, clubs and those looking for basic yet practical Go equipment. Playing on a a scaled down board is a great way to learn the game and this set allows you to advance from a mini 9 x 9 playing area to the larger 13 x 13 – great preparation before tackling a full size 19 x 19 board.
